PLAN DOCUMENT OVERVIEW
To use the BIMx plan file the BIMx app must be downloaded. BIMx is for use with touch screen devices - tablets and phones. The free download of BIMx allows all functions of viewing with the exception of the measure tool. It is $49.99 to download BIMx Pro app and activate the measure tool. Purchase of this app is one time and can be used on any BIMx file. The measure tool works in both 3D and 2D view to give any measurement including angles and surface area by just tapping two points on the screen. I advise trying the free version first and upgrading if the measurement tool proves to be of value.

FIREPLACE WALL PROJECT SCOPE
- Stone/tile in a grayish color scheme to cover most, if not all of the wall.
- A mantle
- Incorporate the fireplace (gas) - can be existing insert or a new (linear) one depending on budget
- Create shelving for a record player
- Mount TV on swivel and soundbar/speakers beneath
- Mid-century modern/clean feel. (Not really into the "woodsy"/cabin or farmhouse look-and-feel)

PREFERRED DESIGN AND TILE RENDER - pending final approval-

ORIGINAL DESIGN CONCEPTS
Here is my suggestions for your final design. As you can see the TV is placed high if we use the shelves. This is a personal preference thing that may be worth mocking up and testing. Ideal viewing is the center of the TV at eye level while seated. I have posted a couple of options for you. The tile is mocked up at 2x12 stagger joint pattern. I removed it from the return wall on the window both for the difference in height and also costs. The drawer is a 12" tall face and the interior dimensions would be a little less than that for the drawer space. Let me know which layout with the TV and mantel you prefer and I will produce some the plans and the BIMx model for that choice.
BIG BUDGET OPTION
Here is a go for it aggressive design that is big on tile budget that could be fun. Especially if over time you upgrade the kitchen backsplash to the same tile as this wall. Also moving the fireplace location which would add costs.
